Response to USPTO filed. LWLG responded to the non-final rejection with revised information, and have requested that the objections cited by the examiner be dropped. LWLG dropped many of the original claims, revised one claim and added a few more. They added a great deal of technical information, apparently to make the claims more specific, as recommended by the examiner. They even changed the name to "Heterocyclical Non-Linear Optic Chromophore Architectures". The only objection they did not address with new information is the one regarding enablement (the ability of others to reproduce their work). LWLG says that sufficient information was provided. They are requesting allowance of the application. Hopefully, this gets them over the hump. I wish I knew how long it would take to get a response. There is more discussion on the Yahoo board.
