Mark: You seem to be an analytical observer that considers all points of view. Which is bad if your cheerleading for a sports team, but good if your investing your hard earned money. A friend of mine that knows I invest in intc knows another individual that is in the pc business. No idea at what level. My friend told me this individual claims intc is going to make a significant announcement about a new product at the upcoming comdex. This person claims to know intel folks at the Folsom facility that indicated this new product would devastate Cyrix and AMD. Faster system bus maybe to address the threat from cyrix? However, the same individual told my friend that ibm held a significant ownership interest in intc. I don't believe this is true but would like to know how to test this information. Do you or any other reader know where I can test the ownership statement? Edgar may be a good start but I have narcolepsy and may not last long going through all of the forms. Best Regards
