Visa Inc. (V) on Wednesday filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission to sell an undisclosed amount of mixed securities from time to time.
The San Francisco retail electronic payments company said the mixed securities include class A common and preferred stock, depositary shares, debt securities and warrants.
Visa said it intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the financing of its operations and for possible business acquisitions.
No underwriters were listed in Wednesday's SEC filing.
