But i-node and his ilk discounted it because it challenged their meme that the only reason why there were problems is because the Dems were talking down the economy. The fact that there were real problems didn't fit their partisan world view. That and it didn't fit their world view that economics is actually pretty complicated and not really amenable to sound bites. The irony throughout their denial is the amount of power they attribute to Obama....probably on some level they do believe he can walk on water. <g>
