I'm not really sure what's going on with that chronic "crisis". It seems, there is a great number of schools pumping out nurses all over the country. Also, as I recall, from time to time they made it easier for foreign trained nurses to get licensed in the US. But in any case, I doubt there would be any problem finding nurses who would be interested in becoming NP's.
