You're wrong again. Clinton's tax increases put us on a path to eliminating the deficit.

When Clinton cut taxes '97, it was already clearly projected we were rapidly heading towards surpluses. Clinton trimmed the sails a bit without changing direction, and the data bears this out.

Bush on the other hand with his tax cuts sent us spiraling back down the rabbit hole of endless deficits. A hole someone other than Bush will have to dig us out of.
