Yeah, that's the awesome thing about leaving mark-to-market up to the management. They can mark UP any asset that went up in value, mark DOWN any liability that went down in value, and conveniently carry the bad news at cost. My stock portfolio looks GREAT if I only mark the winners to market... BC
