So how is this different from the existing liberal judges?

If it was only a matter of replacing a liberal with a liberal of the same type background then there might not be any change at all but Obami is looking for more than your run of the mill liberal judge, he's looking for someone to help use the courts to implement his 'fairness' agenda and he doesn't care if they have jurisprudence experience or not. We've seen what happens when a community organizer becomes president, do we really want to see what happens when one is on the SC?
