It's been oilsands juniors the most bouncy, kind of understandable and they'll keep popping too, also selected base metals ... there's some extremely undervalued e&d plays that haven't participated much, their turns are coming, over the next weeks i'll be rolling gains over into them, Terrane is one, provided the election goes as planned
bmc.v - won't be buying Brilliant, got it up the ying-yang and glad of it, been the greatest little trader in the wife's account and on a roll again ... even though i think they're trying to squeeze out retail - just read the plan of arrangement again and it's clear that exactly 12m pan.ax shares will be distributed to holders of 72.978m shares of bmc.v, so it's not one-for-six it'll be odd lots ... 0.164432pan/bmc, just what your average canuck doofus does not want, odd lots of some foreign stock with high commissions ... however the value is there, and i don't like being squoze, so i'm sticking until they up their bid ... rough value now conservatively around the low .40s, more if you credit the remaining bmc.v with something, and lookee here, one per cent pnf says .43 - stockcharts.com[PA][D20090506][F1!3!1.0!!4!20]&pref=G
au.finance.yahoo.com - we'll see how they do tonight, Sydney just opened
'Australia shares seen supported by U.S. bank tests' - au.biz.yahoo.com
.. lol, imagine Swampy's disgust on reading that, he's right and you know it, those banks are fraudulent crap, on the other hand they've got hard-working US taxpayers behind them and that makes you right, watch out shorting them, it's like trying to bust the mafia for jaywalking
ngd.wt.a - i see Boolish noticed today how somebody's getting positioned for New Gold's coming attempt at 3.50, about a five to one gearing could be expected then, makes the a-wts .70, today they traded at exactly half that, gearing 6.34 ... lovely little pattern developing - stockcharts.com
But for here and now, it's definitely oilsands, and there could come some trigger price in crude where they get even warmer ... or oil could tank and we get to go through this again in nine months, wouldn't that be fun |
