Joe, On fund cash outs, that definately sounds familiar except for the payout in fund shares part, which would be pretty meaningless for open end funds, not that that would stop them from putting in that escape clause. -vbg-

NYSE closed is NYSE closed, so I'm sure halt days/times would be construed as closed. Actually I've seen more restrictive terms to trades having to occur at least 1 or 2 hours before NYSE close.

This is my nightmare scenario. We blow through -550 with more than a hour to close and the powers that be throw up their hands on re-open and shut down for the rest of the day at say 700 plus. Little guys call up their fund and ask what its worth, oh .... how do I cash out, ..... what, what do you mean you MFing SOBs?!!!!!! And she is all over except for the crying. Of course that will be the perfect timing to go long. -g-
