Joe is a tough nut but i am surprised that he has become so rigid in his thinking. There is a lot that's going on now that might not be my first choice. But what obama has shown me is a level of competency that we havent seen in many years. He has adopted a keynsian response to what i see as largely a keynsian problem and has implemented it with great care. Again not every thing I agree with but i do understand his plan and i hope he is successful and my doubts are not realized. For folks like Joe, "read my lips" you cannot solve demand side issues with supply side solutions. And as reagan proved you also cant solve supply side with demand side.
