You fail to support these conclusions with proof. I make the claim that there is no sure thing in the oil patch until the well flows. One well won't tell the story either.
A number wells will be drilled to delineate the field. Do yourself a favor, go to this site and do your own research and draw your own conclusions.

What truth has been presented Geneat, but persistent rumours. I do not invest in rumours. I'll speculate on scenario's and I'll speculate in general based on probabilities, but I refuse to listen to rumours. I also look in the past to know something about the future. Must be that history minor of mine. I looked at this stock after the initial news of 1 billion in potential reserves and assigned it a 40: 60 chance of success. As things have unfolded it is now up to 55:45. Hardly a sure thing, but it has improved.

I still think that they will (MSUP) sell 1/2 for around 40-60 mil and a guarantee that the new partner picks up all exploration cost on the initial well requirements. In other word I think the first 5 wells drilled, AIPN won't have to cough up any money. I also think they get a guarantee of financing for the necessary infrastructure to produce any find.

There is also a scenario that I've give some thought to, one that is tiered. Say they get 40-60mil up front and then based on results additional money paid based on a formula that isn't tied to actual proven results. By that I mean the potential JV would pay .50/barrel on proven results instead of a higher rate of $4-6 after the fact. Then yes you could see the total deal approach 400 million or higher, depending on results (which in affect would help pay their share of the cost to produce). Either way its a plus for AIPN. However, they have to conclude a deal with a significant partner, such as a major like Amoco or Oxy or well position independent such as Hunt Oil or a Triton.

I'm not sure about the siesmic. They own the present and they may want to continue to own it, so they will pick up that cost for 1250 Km.

But that is my speculation based on being in this business. Insider BS will get ferreted out and folks will be blacklisted. You better believe AIPN reads these rumours and if they are close to the truth, someone's ass is in a serious sling.

I ain't got nothing against anyone.....well I do have this ex I'm not fond of.... her lawyer too......-:)
