Chrysler contractually agreed that the the lenders who saved it from sinking earlier will be granted senior rights on thier debt. Debt will be secured, according to contract. They collect 100% before any of the unsecured lenders / claimants get a dime. So what? Obama was trying to get them to accept less in order to keep Chrysler out of BK. What do you care more about...what's best for the country or what's best for the rich hedge funds? I think you need to get your priorities straight.
