here is one of the most entertaining justifications for why taxpayers should be on the hook for the bank losses i have read in a while: "shareholders and bondholders describe most taxpayers....most of them have their savings tied up in stocks and bonds either directly or indirectly through pensions....and if they dont they probably are not in a position to pay much in taxes..."
