>>What are Wts? Warrants?<<

Wts are stock options. Half of all the mining companies are regisered in Canada as they have huge tax incentives. The mining companies often do "private placements PP's". For sweetners they often will give one half a wt free with each share bought. Some are good for as long as 10 years.

After the PP closes the wts separate and trade on their own like a stock.

I have made most of my investment money over the years trading wts. Here is a wonderful thread with wonderful smart people on it for learning. Wts can be very dangerous, but also very safe, once one learns how to use them. They are deceptively complex.

Trading wts and Canadian resources stocks is the reason I am on SI. IN 06 and 07 I was up my total portfolio over 1000% (I only mention this to make my point). Many people on said thread did as well, and can confirm what I said. Wts are the best way for a small investor to turn a small amount of money into a large amount, but it takes awhile to learn how they work. Many diminsions.

Wts are too small a group for the big boys to bother with, so we little fishies get the game to ourselves, more or less.
