Where I would debate the above is that Krugman says the stimulous spending is not straigthforward hyperinflationary for mathematical reasons having to do with deflation and a subdued economy.

I think the right wing, and maybe you, are assuming an arithmetical straightforward stimulous, hyperinflation response reaction, and krugman is saying the economic math is more compicated and does not necessarily lead there.
