Although I feel very concerned, one should not
discount the prior strength exhibited by this
bull run. My bearishness has been fueled by
a growing anxiety over asset devaluation and
its potential impact on credit quality and
forward consumer spending patterns.

Bears should be wary of a continued fall in
interest rates providing an underpinning to
stocks and valuation models used by Wall Street
firms. Also watch out for numerous stock repurchase
announcements which similarly occurred a few days
after Oct.19, 1987.

The volatility will continue...and so will the risk.
