Having more or less "survived" the '87 situation I want to remind everyone that after the dust settled and the selling stopped many, many stocks fully recovered within weeks or months. So if you have the option of sitting tight a little longer you will probably be o.k..

I think that we may be witnessing two events right now, an overall correction, partially brought on by the Hong Kong situation and continuation of a partial rotation out of techs (which started during the earnings reporting period).
