I wish you would see that QDOG has been a pragmatist and that his opinion is based on the real value of what AIPN can hope for. He has contributed mightily to this thread and has certainly not hyped. I am a long on this stock since 94 and have witnessed that the hype with this stock has always ended poorly. I think that the reality that people on this thread bring with their knowledge is far more beneficial then the rumor and innuendo. AIPN has a concession that is likely worth alot of money and the Wavetech people are the key. IMO the important element is whether the seismic data can be relied upon to attract an Industry partner who will pony up dollars to JV the concession. The step of determining a negotiated royalty stream for the Kasakstan Gov is the necessary component before a deal can be reached. This negotiation will ultimately determiine how much AIPN can salvage for the shareholder on a longterm basis after the JV partners. In the July meeting the number of 5-25% was considered the range with Dr. Faris stating that He believed that his Kasak partners could drive the lower end of the range through. This would be very attractive to a major and secure a large share of the ongoing production revenues for AIPN. IMO the story is a great one but reality will drive it not hype and the market will respond to that and that alone. So keep posting your knowledge QDOG I appreciate it.
