Defrocked, I gotta hand it to you. Good posts, really good words. <Treasuries are indeed likely to provide a safe haven.> Not for long. Japan will be (are?) selling into that rally as they will be needing $ to bail out their banks. Since they hold so much everyone will race for the exits tout suite. If you would like to short the long bond check out Rydex Juno Fund. (RYJUX Min: 25,000) What then? Swiss Franc? Gold? I am seriously expecting a good recovery in the XAU when the dust settles. I am open to other index plays. Any suggestions? Onward.. Mark
