I have some FCH also. I had initially bought AHT around 5-7 in 2008, and then exchanged some AMAT and OC into more AHT, some FCH, and more MCGC in early January.

So, I had effectively doubled-down on AHT. Now that it's up in the high 3's, I wanted to diversify a bit into another REIT, and after looking around, sold half my AHT and put it into SPPR, which is a budget motel/hotel chain. In theory, I think SPPR would be more relatively recession-resistant, but it hasn't bounced from its lows as much as other hotel REITS. I considered BEE also, but I'm not sure I have enough of a handle on that one to put shares into it.

Tricky market out there, especially in REITS.

Thanks,

cw
