Carolyn Found this of interest-----mention has been made of how the market collapsed as Obama became the Democrat Candidate and leading up to the election in 2008. This article has a chart that shows what happened in 2008 as anticipation built of a possible POTUS Obama. Notice how the first bottom in this market coincided with the election of Obama.
