Adding to VZ today. I don't have a way where I can comfortably put a stock into a garp category box. Right now, it's still subjective to me. I guess VZ, with its size and diversity, p/e between 11-13, it might be one.
It's 7.6% sales growth annualized over 5 years seems anemic though. It's five year average annual income growth is 13%, slightly better than the industry average. Company is making a big push with it fiber optics, FIOS, and maybe that will continue to bring in customers, rev and earnings.
