The Fortune article is one man's opinion. Soros is IMHO certainly less wacky than Ross Perot. If you read his autobiography, you would see that he freely admits to his failings as a philosopher. In any case, it's his money, he can spend it any way he wants to. The only difference between Soros and you or me is that he has the resources to try making his ideas come true, wacky or not.

When you write about Soros or Clinton, your posts seem to get that "foaming at the mouth" kind of tone. We live in a big world where not everyone is going to agree with you. If you get that upset everytime someone you disagree with rises to a position of power & tries to shape the world to suit their vision, you're just working on a heart attack. Chill out, dude. There's even a small chance that you're wrong and they are right. History will tell.
