Both managements strongly in favour, likely figuring on getting an improved valuation as a midcap rather than two separate juniors, also financing will be easier if they find a use for extra cash ... i'm not up on Gammon, but just guessing, the people who run New Gold and the Western G people who will stay on have vasty superior histories of making money for shareholders, this is a high-test bunch and ngd is their chosen vehicle ... think of it as your little girl getting married, you're not losing a daughter, you're gaining a son-in-law, who happens to come with a whole biker gang -g-
