I would guess such production will be at .25 micron line width. Tech Buyer has also listed some articles that further confirm the industry recovery story. I do not agree with Dave Dhillon's double dip downturn scenario, but even if the DRAM manufacturers hold off until 300 mm wafer equipment is available they will be making technology buys for pilot lines. The conference calls that I have sat in on this month have consistently indicated that orders are being made for equipment to produce 64 mb DRAM at the .25 micron line width. In addition, conference calls that I have sat in on have given no indication that demand has slipped for equipment to manufacture logic and microprocessor chips.
