Joe, << spin speeds ahead of silicon >> Doesn't seem a problem to me. Every sector in information support needs to achieve their best performance possible. As silicon geometries shrink, their speed will come up to, or maybe surpass disk speed capabilities. Maximum performance from all sectors. Hey, it's the American way. A note on seg's visionaries. A couple months ago I suggested SEG at 50+ by the end of October. All is not lost! Several days to go. <ggg> The shorters derserve to harass. It's been a long wait for them. Awaiting my day in the sun, but maybe I'll have to push it out past October! T2k
