Finally decided to sit this one out, too, eh? Probably a good idea. It didn't even budge with all the other oil stocks going crazy today.
Wish I had some good tips for you, but my wife and I are probably looking at a few extra years of teaching instead of our hoped-for early retirement - all because of our unfortunate stock picks. So, unless you like the thought of working the rest of your life, don't take any of my advice.
For instance - bought Atari at 2 1/2. It went to 9, but I still have it now that it's down to 3 13/16. Just can't seem to let go at the right time. The others I have are: DGTC, DISK, NMBS, PMTI, CICG, and a bunch of disappointing pennies (ADGI, DACQ, MTCI and ARET). Best advice - leave these alone! I put a ton of money in them when they were sky high. And now that they're down in the dumps, I can't sell and no money left to average down. Kind of scarey! I'll be stuck with them the rest of my life. YIKES!
