"There is little question that I want to be worth a $Billion. Ain't gonna happen. Can't overthrow every world leader with unrealistic aspiration."

Every world leader with aspirations is not the topic nor is it the practicality of our circumstance.

It is possible for you to be a billionaire but it depends on your motivation, conduct, resources, and opportunities. Saddam Hussein's desires to expand his brutal tyranny were not far flung pipe dreams and he had all of the above.

He had used weapons of mass destruction to conquer and destroy in his own region. He had waged a successful war with another major power Iran, he had invaded another country, he had a modern weapons development industry, he had the wealth of the world beneath his feet, he had shown the willingness to brutalize and murder masses of people who threatened his power, he had declared intent to expand his realm, he had threatened to take war everywhere in the world "wherever there is sky, land or water." He was a madman in a position to act on his madness.

Even in his limited capacity of the day he threatened America with terrorism. "We know that you can harm us although we do not threaten you. But we too can harm you. Everyone can cause harm according to their ability and their size. We cannot come all the way to you in the United States, but individual Arabs may reach you." (NYT International)

The only thing keeping him from developing a superpower status that could act out his vainglorious and vindictive goals was us. And with the deterioration of the sanctions he needed only to bide his time.

"Can't overthrow every world leader with unrealistic aspiration."

Nor is the cause to consider it. We could and did throw that evil dictator over and it was a very good thing that we did.
