Let me answer that. Crusader doesn't become involved in the day to day insurance scam. His office specialists do the billing and collections but hiring them to do that constitutes a significant part of his overhead. He DOES become involved when they bring him a denial, a MONTH or more after he's submitted his claim. The denial says: "Dear Doctor. We are unable to process your claim, because we require further information". Now, does Crusader a) take time out of his busy day, fill out the required info and resubmit the claim b) Look at the $$ amount involved c) if b is large, see a. d) if b is small, explode with a few expletives and toss it in the waste can?
