Don't let that stop you from continuing to hang your hat on that Intel-provided hook in the meantime.

Perhaps you need to be reminded of the EU statement:

In its summary of findings, the EC said Intel did not state the terms of the rebate payments in its contracts. However, the EC said it "obtained proof of the existence of many of the conditions found to be illegal" from e-mails and testimony.

In other words, there are no Intel documents or contracts which support the EU case. A point I have predicted repeatedly. So just exactly what is the evidence? We don't know because we don't have access to it, another point I accurately predicted.

The EU case is built on emails and testimony. Intel was not allowed to submit or subpoena documents and testimony from OEMs which dispute or disprove the EU case. Intel was not allowed to cross examine the mysterious testimony or present evidence to dispute the emails or put them in proper context. You don't care because you got your desired result, who cares how it happened? Fortunately Intel will get it's day in court where it can present evidence excluded by the commission. It can cross examine witnesses under oath. It can subpoena the testimony of OEMs who disputed the EU's claims. Meanwhile, AMD will lose Billions, Intel will make Billions and the EU consumers will pay more for Intel products.
