The coin has not yet dropped. Do you know the term "coin dropped"?

It is from the times we used public phones, (in telecoms known as 'coin boxes') when the conversation only would happen after the coin dropped,that means when the other party had answered the phone and the coin would be collected by the phone.

We used in Brazil for illustrate when someone 'get it'. Like thsi example here: I have this deal in my mail box. Two days ago, 'the coin dropped'.

Aha! they are doing that to minimize the money paid to the agent!' Let me see how I can negotiate that. I can get more money!

The coin dropped when you realize out of a sudden what is really going on.
