Thanks for clarification. I agree that CAP has a good chance of getting rfp. Yet DMT already won over close to 50% of the market while CAP is still fighting fot it's share. For a technology that had a good head start CAP is not doing so great compare to DMT, you have to agree with that. As you remember I was on CAP (inspite of my AMTX holding) side just a few weeks ago when dmt was #1. One can say that I like to explore a contrarian view point but I am finally getting convinced that DMT standard is going to be a winner. If I can use a paralell with 28.8 modem development when they came out with first 28.8 the used v.fast and few others but in the end standard won. I am not an engineer but from pure economic stand point it makes sense to use one standard, IMHO.
By the way, I thought that copper is used all over the world.

ps Unfortunatly, I do not have any idea how big Amati's share of the pie, if any, might be.
