It's been a nice spring, tradingwise! Last fall I got lucky with a large position in SNDK, bought two days before Samsung offered to buy them for 26 bucks a share. Dumped around 21 and change the day after the offer was announced, and I thank my lucky stars because the stock then went from 22 to 5 after the offer was withdrawn and the market meltdown began. Lately trading the long side has been spectacular, with many stocks going up 200-300 percent, but the bulk of that is over for now IMO, and perhaps this is nothing more than a strong bear market rally. Retail sales nothing to write home about, so we shall see. Regards, John
