"Future use"? In an industry notorious for inventory depreciation? What's the OEM supposed to do? Take them, then throw them into the dumpster later?

Firefox is being offered for free, but I still run Internet Exploder. Using the logic of the EU, the former is sufficient proof that Microsoft has a virtual gun to my head. To them, there is no other possibility, such as inertia on my part.
