Hi thread, I've been searching for a new label for myself, since I no longer consider myself a Republican. I don't think Independent is right either, because I'm conservative by nature, but think the Democrats have it right on some key issues like war, renewable energy, and a progressive tax structure. More and more, I've been thinking I may be a Progressive. Anyway, below is a book that I am going to pick up and read: The Progressive Revolution: How the Best in America Came to Be by Michael Lux amazon.com Meanwhile my family has suggested I read the following to get back in touch with my conservative Republican roots.
