To me that says I agree with a lot of people on this issue and you DON'T. Apparently that automatically makes YOU think you're right and I'm wrong.

I played a lot of sports in the 60's and I always treated my black team mates with respect and I always objected if any of them were treated less so. If I had had gay team mates I hope I would have done the same, but I didn't really know about gay people back then. I honestly can't tell you how I would have reacted, but I CAN tell you I wouldn't have abused them in any way verbally or physically and I would HOPE I would have protected them to some degree.

Being Gay is a NEW thing in our society and the World. It's not like people can automatically switch their prejudices on and off.

I don't think it was being gay that kept you out of the military. I think it was probably other things and now you're transferring those "other things" onto the sexual orientation thing.
