Anializer, thanks for your comment regarding shippers. The book value of the vessels would be historical cost minus depreciation and not necessarily the current market value. However the same is true for all assets of companies unless they are about to be disposed or they are traded in a liquid market. What do you think of ARE, the health care lab REIT? It seems well managed, with little occupancy risk at this point. They beat earnings and had a secondary at a higher price (38.25$) than the current quote. they do have some LT financing risk but not before 2011.
