Folks,

I have Windows (Me) and Ubuntu 8.04 dual booted on a Dell XPS desktop. No problems in general. However this afternoon, while operating under Ubuntu, I lost my internet connection. I rebooted into Windows...no internet.

I rebooted the entire (cable: TV, telephone, internet) home network to find that TV works, phone works, and I my internet connection under Ubuntu works, but I have no internet connection while running Windows.

I know that this is the Linux forum, but few on the other threads like 'Computer Learning' speak of o/s issues other than MS. Thoughts on reestablishing internet on the Windows o/s would be appreciated as my transition to linux is not yet 100%

TIA

nnil.
