Andrew, my interpretation of the circuit breakers was tha the MM and specialist just wanted to stop making a market and go HOME. In both limits, wathcing the tape it was like the market was forced into those price levels. Realy very strange trading in single stocks around the circuit brakers limits the spreads widen very substantialy. Happy trading Haim
