ok, here's my 2 cents on abortion. my opinion differs from yours only slightly.

first, i think hardly anyone is truly 'pro' abortion. what they are 'pro' is the right to do the deed.

i don't think abortion should be made legal. but, neither should it be made illegal (i'm sure you see the subtle difference). it should never get to the point of legality in the first place, because in doing so it takes away our sovereignty. personal sovereignty should never be broached by any government.

i doubt if many would have the gall to personally tell a woman that she can't abort. so instead they enlist a surrogate government that they hide behind, while having it do their dirty work. the gutlessness of it belies its impropriety.

the deed is best left to those involved. and although we may grimace in judgment, we have no right to interfere.
