You have bought into a religious cult, very similar to the delusion of Reaganism. I can understand why both appeal to you being a Realtor. Debt is your mother's milk. The wonderful thing about cult beliefs is that they're completely unaffected by facts and reality. I have no doubt that you'll be very happy with your fantasies for the balance of your life. But as our experience with the Reagan cult has demonstrated, cult belief systems do not make good economic policy and they can destroy nations. Krugman's belief that an economic depression can be avoided by replacing all lost private spending with government spending is not shared by any economist other than Milton Friedman. Their belief system has been devastatingly disproved by Japan's experience after 1990. Not even Stiglitz agrees with these two in the way you imagine. You falsely believe Galbraith agreed with your your cult views only because you probably have never read anything he wrote. .
