I give my money willingly to our democratically elected governments. And let our representative democracy decide how to spend it. I vote for almost every bond issue.

I pay very high federal taxes and am glad to do so. I would also like to see a .50 tax on gasoline to fund a new energy grid and supplement a green revolution.

And I recognize the need for our federal government to somehow negotiate with other coutnries to end nuclear weapons. If we do not we die.

Statisticians keep telling us a nuclear war is a statistical certainty if we do not get rid of them.

States cannot do it. That is why we have a federal government.

And I would never give my money to you because you seem like a selfish person to me.
