"It was just an in kind reply to a snarky assed post." Yeah, it was snarky. But it has a kernel of truth. i-node and others promote waterboarding as being safe, quick and effective. Yet we put one person through 183 pours. Granted, we don't know how long a pour is, or how many pours per session, but I suspect it lasts longer than a few milliseconds. Probably by several orders of magnitude. What happened to a few seconds to a couple of minutes? The way it has been presented is very much like torture et al is portrayed on '24' based on what others have said. Never watch it myself. Neither have I seen 'An Inconvenient Truth', but I never heard anyone speak of it with reverence.
