It seems so hopeless...things didn't seem to change that much through the 80's, but speeded up through the 90's...tech has accelerated it...made possible the "hive mind" of social networking like Facebook...all I hear are people mindlessly repeating democratic talking points...by rote, dumb creatures without a clue... conformity is worse now than it ever was in the 50's...only now it's a matter of survival...if you don't agree with the majority opinion, ostracism and loss of job follow...
