There is nothing common about sense.

Case in point.

It is interesting how the CIA shifts so. When they release information that indicates the administration had ignored evidence that Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction, the CIA is composed of political hacks who will say anything for political points. And now they are unquestioned and unquestionable paragons of virtue.

Orwell had you in mind when he wrote about 'double-think'.
