Well I guess there should be a post every NINE years or so on this thread. My interest in this stock has just been trigger by IBD putting ANEN in the top 100 last week. Earnings appear to be flat to somewhat up for organic growth. Two acquisitions made in 2009 Q1 appear to be accretive right away. I like firms that can be disciplinned enough to make accretive mergers. They still have 50 million in cash and 12.5 million shares outstanding. The chart looks as though we might see some backtesting here after having a breakout to sesistance iin the 15ish and then 17ish areas. stockcharts.com Last but not least I like tech and defense as well as microwave and satellites. My other stocks are Cohu (BMS and microwave transmitters/receivers and KVHI satellite telco and mobile antennaes. It is my belief that satellites and mobile internet are very long term mega trends that will be serving up growth even in the global slow down environment. I have one other rule/prefence - stock I own must be debt free and cash in the bank - this gives them staying power and the ability to be opportunistic in mergers and acquistitions. Anaren seems to fit all of my likes - so I'll watch this daily and try top get a good entry point and develope a long term feel for this stock. Since this thread has been so inactive - I hope to awaken a conversation from a long term holder - one who can give me a feel for how management treats and likes its share holders. I also have one other rule - visit the company and geta feel for how they treat stockholders. Any on out there have a viewpoint that can accelerate my DD PULLEASE say HI !!
