Thanks! Geraghty did a fine job on that piece! A good friend has read Alinsky's book, but if finding no one will discuss it with her. Her lefty friends don't want to hear it, and think she's being too harsh on Obama, and her rightleaning friends think that she is imagining spooks behind every door, so to speak.

I'm sure I'll read it this summer, so at least two of us can discuss it...Hopefully Jim Geraghty will have a large audience on his thoughts...we certainly are seeing how Obama's views fit into Alinsky's, and how Obama is toeing the Alinsky line....

I did watch him give the speech at Notre Dame earlier...it was an excellent speech, and I wondered how many of the 2009 grads will follow him like he is the new Pied Piper....President Obama says all the right words, but does he do more than talk the talk?

Jim Geraghty: The Alinsky Administration
Today, reading Rules for Radicals is illuminating and worrisome.

>>>>>Moderates thought they were electing a moderate; liberals thought they were electing a liberal. Both camps were wrong. Ideology does not have the final say in Obama’s decision-making; an Alinskyite’s core principle is to take any action that expands his power and to avoid any action that risks his power. <<<<<
