The real problem in taking SS away now, is the people who are now receiving it, have contributed all their working lives to it. With the exception of all the exceptions Congress has added over the years to it....i.e. refugees I understand qualify right away (President Exec Order gets refugees instant everything), children of people who have died earlier than their SS could be granted to them...and I'm sure there are more exceptions. Plus Congress to get more votes, has added in more and more money for SS each year... Is it true that both House and Senators get full retirement after just one term? And full benefits? I'd like a job like that....!
