I very strongly doubt Ampligen would get ignored after approval. CFS is one of those contentious things with very inconsistent symptoms, leading some to doubt its legitimacy as a condition, leading others to be very anxious to prove its legitimacy, leading them to be very likely to latch hard on to an FDA approval of a CFS treatment as said proof.

Oh, and there is a little something news-ish behind today. Apparently swine flu is still an epidemic in Osaka, and, by coincidence, Ampligen is just starting to undergo human trials in Japan as potentially having something to do about it. (It's all a little vague and seemingly a long way from substance, but hype is hype.)
